VENTANA Works Prevocational Program

Mon-Thurs, 12:00 - 4:00

A program for young adults age 18-30 seeking to improve communication, socialization, daily living, self-care, and prevocational skills through visual and performing arts, as well as a variety of educational and interpersonal activities.

Prerequisites: Students participating in this program need to have the ability to follow simple verbal and/or written directions, communicate their basic wants and needs, stay on task with assigned projects for a minimum of 30 minutes, and maintain safe social behavior in small groups in a community setting.

Participants in this program will engage in a variety of lessons and activities with the goal of increasing their personal skills to increase their chances of gaining employment, continuing their education, and living a fulfilling and productive adult life.

Participants should bring their own healthy lunch to eat at the program each day they attend.

The cost of the program is $20 per day. Participants may attend any portion of the day they choose, but the cost remains $20 per day regardless of whether they participate in the full session, or any portion thereof.

Once registered, participants can drop in for any sessions desired with no commitment to a weekly minimum.

Pre-pay for 10 sessions to be used at any time for $200, and receive 1 extra session at no additional cost.

VENTANA Game and Activity Afterschool Club

Tuesdays and Thursdays, 4:30 - 6:30
 
For school age kids. Participants will have the option of engaging in a variety of social games and activities, or creating functional crafts, primarily out of recycled materials.

Once registered, participants can drop in for any sessions desired with no commitment to a weekly minimum.

The cost of the program is $10 per session. Pre-pay for 10 sessions to be used at any time for $100, and receive 1 extra session at no additional cost. (Can be combined with any other Ventana group.)




VENTANA Women’s Wellness Wednesday

Wednesdays

4:30-6:30 - Gaia Girls - For girls of all ages. Girls will participate in a wisdom circle discussion on a variety of topics, and participate in a guided personal development activity.

Once registered, participants can drop in for any sessions desired with no commitment to a weekly minimum.

The cost of the program is $10 per session. Pre-pay for 10 sessions to be used at any time for $100, and receive 1 extra session at no additional cost. (Can be combined with any other Ventana group.)

7:00-8:30 - Women’s Wellness Workshop - Open to anyone interested. No charge for participation. (Cosmetics, essential oils, natural skin care, jewelry, crafts, and other items available for purchase if desired with a portion of the proceeds to go to Bee Gaia.)


VENTANA Pajama Potluck Family Game Night

Thursdays 6:30-8:30

No charge for Participation. Come in your pajamas, and bring a healthy dish to pass. We will play educational games together that are fun for the whole family. (Games available for purchase if desired with a portion of the proceeds to go to Bee Gaia.)
